With over thirty six years of experience, Rodger G. Mohagen provides a solid core for Tax Law Office, P.A. Rodger’s practice encompasses all areas of tax law ranging from tax controversy and litigation, ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plans) and business formation to business and estate planning. Rodger is licensed to practice law in the state of North Dakota
After receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of North Dakota in December 1972, Rodger began his career in tax at Arthur Andersen & Company in Minneapolis, Minnesota. After several years of experience, he returned to Grafton, North Dakota, to practice in partnership at Mohagen, Olafson & Company. While there, Rodger expanded his experience from income tax preparation to consulting. In 1982, Rodger sold his practice and moved to the Fargo-Moorhead area. Rodger continued his consulting with various firms including: Eide Helmeke & Company; Haugen, Wright, Johnson & Mohagen, Ltd.; and Charles Bailly & Company.
In order to offer a wide range of services for his clients, Rodger decided to compliment his accounting degree with a Juris Doctor degree from the University of North Dakota Law School in May 1995. Rodger also serves on the Board of Directors of CENTRE, Inc., a transitional housing facility for state and federal work release and pre-release clients.
As a native of Grafton, North Dakota, Rodger maintains strong ties to Walsh County. Rodger currently resides in West Fargo, and has one child: Thomas. In his free time, Rodger enjoys golfing, traveling and spending time with his grandchildren.
